The programme will feature choral pieces in a wide range of musical styles, but will have a particular focus on new settings of Shakespeare’s texts, which have been specially written by a number of different composers to mark the 400th anniversary of his death this year. As well as the concert title piece taken from Twelfth Night, others come from: Cymbeline, A Midsummer Night’s Dream & As you like it.
In addition to the choral items, the concert will also include recorder solos played by Olivia Petryszak. Olivia is a member of the prestigiousAldeburgh Young Musicians scheme, and is a past winner of Cambridge Young Musician of the Year.
We look forward to welcoming those who have been to our concerts before as well as anyone who would like to attend for the first time.
