World Peashooting Championships & Village Fair

World Pea Shooting Championships

This most unusual of events returns for its 45th year! Fun for all the family both young and old, male and female, so fill your lungs full of wind and get on the peablowing trail. The background fair consists of a variety of side-stalls for children, there are Novelty Games, Face Painting, Bouncy Castle, there is also a lunchtime barbeque, a bar and and cream teas that are being served in the village hall.

Date: Saturday July 11th 2015

Time: Midday – 1pm [Competitions start]

Venue: The Village Green, [next to the village hall], The Slade, Witcham, Nr Ely, Cambridgeshire. CB6 2LB.

Admission: To take part in the peashooting championships entrance on the day is:-
Adults £4
Juniors £2
Adults [Team] £10
Juniors [Team] £4

Peashooters and maple peas that are to be used will be on sale, but you can purchase then in advance from White Horse Public House,  7, Silver Street, Witcham,  Nr Ely, Cambridgeshire. CB6 2LF,
