World Pea Shooting Championships and Village Fair 2017
This yearly held event is a great day out for all the family both young and old. The Pea Shooting Championships have a practice area before the skills of the shooter are put to the test at 1pm. It is an event that has been dominated by local talent, although entrants travel from all over the United Kingdom and from overseas to compete.
Entrants can be male or female, from children to adults. Those who wish to compete can purchase their peashooters and peas from The White Horse Public House, 7 Silver Street, Witcham. CB6 2LF.
Entry on the day is Adults £4, Children £2 Adult Teams £10 and Children £4

The village fair begins at midday and features Games, Side Stalls, Raffle Bouncy Castle, Face Painting, BBQ and a Bar. Lunchtime Cream Teas are served in the Villlage Hall.

Time: Peashooting at 1pm – Fair at Midday
