Oliver Cromwell House awarded 2015 Tripadvisor certificate of excellence

The awards keep coming for Oliver Cromwell’s House in Ely as it has received a TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence award.

Now in its fifth year, the award celebrates excellence in hospitality and is given only to places which consistently achieve great reviews on TripAdvisor.

Certificate of Excellence winners include accommodations, eateries and attractions located all over the world that have continually delivered a superior customer experience.

Richard Hobbs, Chairman of Commercial Services at East Cambridgeshire District Council, said: “It is no surprise to me that Oliver Cromwell House has won further recognition for what is a fantastic tourist venue. It strikes a wonderful balance between being educational, fun and ever so slightly mysterious – three ingredients to attract many a visitor. I would like to say a big well done to everyone who works at the House and I am sure the awards will keep on coming as will visitors in the months and years to come.”

When selecting Certificate of Excellence winners, TripAdvisor uses data that takes into account the quality, quantity and timing of reviews and opinions submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period.  To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
