BREAKING THE SILENCE TOUR OCTOBER 2021

A free performance on October 16 at 2pm at St Andrew’s Church in Soham for Black History month in celebration of Olaudah Equiano, the 18th century Black British Abolitionist.

Equiano married a local Cambridgeshire woman, Susannah Cullen’ in the church in 1792.

The performance tells the story of 18th-century abolitionist movement through speeches, personal narratives, and song.

We tell their stories in their own words.

The performance is free of charge and lasts about an hour.
