We may be facing tough times ahead, and it’s clear that the coronavirus pandemic isn’t going away any time soon, but with a vaccine on the horizon, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

In the meantime, there has never been a better time to sit yourself down and decide on your goals for 2021, and what healthy habits you’re going to foster in the coming year.

Improve Your Diet

It’s something that we all consider when the new year rolls around, but how many of you actually stick to it? Usually most have given up by the end of February (if they even made it that far).

This year, try something different. Make a pact with yourself to sort out your nutrition instead of opting for a fad diet. Don’t restrict yourself, but be sure you’re getting the right nutrients in. Humans like routine just like dogs do, so if you’re a dog owner this one is a two-fold great tip! Get up at the same time each day, and try to go to bed at the same time each night, and make your day a bit more rigid, your mental health will thank you.

You’ve seen all of the internet ‘tidy your room’ memes, right? Well, there’s no better time than now to start, and while you’re at it try to make the rest of your house as beautiful as possible. A tidy house is a tidy mind, as they say.

Plan A Holiday

Ok, you might not be able to GO on holiday for a while, but just looking at pictures of soft white sand or culture-filled city breaks is enough to perk anyone’s mood up.

Plan your next holiday, research hotels, flights, and build an itinerary so that when you are allowed out and it’s safe to travel again, you’ll be ready to go!
