Ely Apple Festival 2017

This annual event is a great favourite for fruit lovers in particular those who love their apples. Both eating apples and cooking apples are to be seen here (Bramleys, Granny Smiths etc. If you do not know the name of the apples in your own garden then take a couple along to the festival complete if possible with the stalk and a leaf to be identified by the experts.

There are also apple competitions the longest apple peel etc, traders selling

their apples and other fruits,  apple ciders and juices, other local traders selling their wares, candle making demonstrations, story telling, plays, and musical entertainment.
