Everyone has heard of the comedy classic Dad’s Army, that tells of the adventures of The British Home Guard during the Second World War. Its writers, Jimmy Perry and David Croft, brought into our homes the characters of Captain Mainwaring, Sergeant Wilson, Lance Corporal Jones and Privates Walker, Frazier, Godfrey and Pike, helped along the way by ARP Chief Warden Hodges, The Vicar Farthing and Verger Yeatman . Now you can see them all brought back to life live on stage in this production as performed by the Viva Theatre Company – plus other Wartime Entertainment.
