In England there was hardly a city, a town or a village that was left untouched – someone somewhere lost a husband, a son, a brother an uncle, a nephew or a friend who died in the conflict that became ever known as The Battle of The Somme. Here the Haddenham Local History Group tell the stories of the men of the village who fought lived and died during those four months of hell.
