The King’s School Ely dating from the seventh century, refounded 970AD, 1541 and 1662. East Anglia’s oldest  independent school for boys and girls, ages 2-18 day and (from age 8) boarding: full boarding, weekly and flexible

The King’s School has flourished beside the great Cathedral for more than one thousand years. It still uses many of the attractive medieval buildings.Ely itself remains a small and peaceful city yet is only an hour from London by train.

This is an exceptionally friendly school. It offers a wide range of subjects and activities to pupils with an equally wide range of interests and talents - academic, sporting, creative. Music is a strength at all ages.

Girls and boys have been well integrated at the school for over 25 years.
