Would you like to take part in historical re-enactment? Are you interested in the American Civil War? There are two societies in Britain - The American Civil War Society and The Southern Skirmish Association. What do they do? Living history, shows, skirmishes, battles, camp life, etc. Why American history? OTHER SOCIETIES - The Sealed Knot, E.C.W.S., Napoleonic Association, White Rose, and many others do British history, so why not also display American history?
