6th July - 2003 saw the Annual Ely Aquafest held @ Lavender's Land, aka Willow Walk by the Ely Rotary Club. |

The
weather was lovely and the turn-out was teriffic as several home-made
Rafts took to the River Ouse to compete in the fun race.

On the Arena Performers Performed, Crafts & other Market Stalls offered wares & games, the Fun Fair Entertained the little, and big Kids. |
|
The
Major of Ely, Philip Eden, who
incidently is the youngest member of the city council and was elected
to replace last years Mayor Shirley Overall,
blesses the Aquafest 2003 event.
All in all, a wonderful day was had by all. |
