Historian Mike Petty may be able to help you!
Mike Petty was librarian of the
Cambridgeshire Collection for over 30 years, creating
the resource used by thousands of researchers.
Over that time he became the most widely acknowledged
authority on Cambridge and the fens & built
up unique knowledge of resources. On retirement
he was awarded an Honorary MA from Cambridge University
and the MBE for his work on Cambridgeshire history.
He
has published several books & booklets on
Cambridge and the county, has a daily and weekly
columns in Cambridge newspapers & lectures
on the area to groups and societies. Mike
also offers a Research Service with free advice
and inspiration for those studying the area.
