Sutton Conservation Society

Working Parties

St Andrews Churchyard

We have planted native plants which will multiply over the years (the cowslips are already doing well)

Stankers Pond, Station Rd
We have over recent months dug out the pond and started to restore it to its former glory. It is surviving well at the moment and we are building up a photographic record of the ongoing improvements.

Tree Planting
A thank you to all those that have donated unwanted tree saplings. Further tree planting will be taking place on the Recreation Ground in the next Planting Season. We are also negotiating over 2 or 3 further areas for tree planting.
